MEASURING IMPACT

At Bloomsbury, we use a number of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning methods to identify how we positively impact the young people in our programmes.

Theory of Change

Developed in liaison with experts at the University of Westminster, this framework evaluates where impact is felt so we may continually improve provision and maximise impact on individual and population scales.

LONGITUDINAL SURVEYS

Our Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning process, collected via twice yearly player and parent Impact Surveys, determines how we deliver our football provision.

Tracking key impact areas across physical activity, mental health and life skills offer us essential, long-term insight into how we are systematically creating change.

Our Youth Board

Our Youth Board has representatives from every single one of our football and futsal programmes. They regularly meet in person at our Camden office, to strengthen the ties between our players and discuss how we can improve our offering.

Hearing directly from those on the pitch is essential, as it allows us to centre our strategic delivery and growth plans around those in our communities that will benefit from the provision.

OUR STRATEGY

We’re proud to be getting over 6,500 young people on pitch ever week – but this is just the beginning. Our growth strategy informs how we want to grow to 20,000 players a week by 2028.

HOW WE'RE SCALING

20,000+

young people playing weekly at Bloomsbury by 2028

0:50

gender balance across our programmes by 2028
